SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Savannah's known for its movies such as "Forrest Gump", "Midnight In The Garden of Good and Evil" and coming Friday, add "The Conspirator" to the list.
It seems like only yesterday Robert Redford used Savannah streets and historical landmarks to make his Civil War epic.
Now nearly two years later, it's being released everywhere.
Cast and crew actually got a sneak peek of the final product during a special screening at the Regal Eisenhower Cinemas.
"Awesome, I was talking to my wife, saying look at all these places, so I thought it was cool," said Michael Demita, extra in "The Conspirator"
It opens nationwide this Friday.
