People in Savannah gathered to remember a 14-year-old boy who was shot and killed last week. Friends and relatives of Rakeem Boyd met on Joe Street for a candlelight vigil last night. More than 50 people joined hands to pray and sing songs in Boyd's honor.
Boyd was shot Thursday night at Wolf and Paulsen Streets. He died Saturday afternoon at Memorial Health. Another man was wounded by a stray bullet.
Police are still looking for Boyd's killer. They say 17-year-old Giberel Green, pictured here, is the suspect in this homicide. They are asking for your help in finding him. If you know where Green is, call CrimeStoppers at 234-2020.
