BLUFFTON, SC (WTOC) - A Lowcountry man is in the hospital after his car catches fire. Bluffton Fire Department firefighters responed to a car fire on Hwy 278 near the Buckwalter Parkway Tuesday morning shortly after 7 a.m.
They got the fire out, but not before the man was injured. Firefighters say the interior of the car somehow caught fire.
He was transported to Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah.
There is no information on his condition.
