Helping put an end to sexual assault

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC)- Some women were making sure others are never the victim of another sexual assault Wednesday.

They called it Jeans for Justice over at Lulu's Chocolate Bar. They raised money for Savannah's Rape Crisis Center and let women know, from an early age you don't have to be a victim.

"A lot of what we're doing in primary prevention is in the school system, talking about healthy relationships. What does it take to have a positive relationship, and where there's a lot of respect," said Mary McAlister, Director of the Rape Crisis Center.

The center always needs others to help, so if you'd like to find out how you can volunteer, just contact Mary McAlister for more information at 912.233.3000
