The Coastal Georgia Alzheimer's Association is launching the Six Week Early Stage Memory Loss Support Group on May 11.
The group is geared toward people experiencing memory loss and their care partners. The Coastal Georgia Alzheimer's Association is currently accepting individuals into the prescreening process.
Those who are memory impaired must be in the early stages of memory loss, be aware of their memory loss, and be willing to talk about it with others, according to the association.
The support group topics include: beginning changes and what to expect; tomorrow is the best reason for a plan today and a plan of action for staying active physically, mentally and emotionally.
For more information or for a prescreening into the group call Jenny House at 912.920.2231.
The group will meet from 4:30 to 6 p.m. until June 15 at the association office at 201 Television Circle in Savannah.
