Trouble brewing again for Savannah City Council

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The Georgia Attorney General's office are looking into another violation of the open meetings act.

This, after council members agreed during a closed door session to award Alderwoman Mary Osborne more than $50,000 dollars to fix flood damage in her home.

The City Attorney said the council is allowed to meet privately when discussing settlement negotiations.

The Attorney General's office said it isn't sure if proper procedures were followed or not.
