Fuel 98 cents higher per gallon than in 2010

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The average retail gasoline prices in Savannah increased 1 cent per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.73 per gallon on Sunday. That's lower than the increase in the national average, which jumped 3.7 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.80 per gallon, according to gasoline price website SavannahGasPrices.com.

Gas prices in Savannah during the past week, prices Sunday were 97.9 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago and are 27.0 cents per gallon higher than a month ago, according to the website. The national average has increased 27.4 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 93.5 cents per gallon higher than this day one year ago.
