HINESVILLE, GA (WTOC) - Opening arguments began Wednesday in the court martial of a Fort Stewart soldier accused of double murder.
Army Sergeant Joseph Bozichevich at Fort Stewart reveals that the two soldiers killed in Iraq were shot at 27 times, one hit six times, the other seven.
Witnesses say Bozichevich opened fire after his fellow soldiers criticized him for battlefield blunders.
Sgt. Joseph Bozicevich is charged with killing Staff Sgt. Darris Dawson and Sgt. Wesley Durbin while stationed in Iraq nearly three years ago.
Bozicevich has pleaded not guilty. If convicted he could face the death penalty.
