Congressional staff visit Hunter Army Airfield

Two members of the House Committee on Veterans Affairs are visiting Hunter Army Airfield Thursday. They're visiting military bases around the southeastern United States to observe the services being offered members of the Armed Forces, their Families and Dept. of Defense civilian employees before they transition to the civilian sector, according to HAAF.

Mike Brinck, majority staff director, and John Clark, professional staff member, who are both on the Subcommittee on Economic Opportunity will be visiting.

The Army Career and Alumni Program was created by the Army to provide transition and job assistance services to the soldiers and civilian employees and their family members.
