Posted: Updated:

FORT JACKSON, S.C. (AP) - The Army's largest training post is hosting a series of Easter celebrations including an egg hunt, music with an Army band and a gospel choir.

Fort Jackson spokeswoman Karen Soule says the Army's 282nd Army Band is providing music to accompany a performance of the installation's Daniel Circle Chapel Gospel Choir. An egg hunt is set for midmorning Sunday at the post's Solomon Center. A late-night Catholic service is set to end at midnight. Sunday morning services are being held for the Anglican, Latter Day Saints, Catholic, Church of Christ, Protestant and contemporary Christian faith groups on post.
