SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Mr. Chris Polsin, president, Mossy Oak Gun Club, will present a check for $1,000 to the Savannah USO at the Skeet Range at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Hunter Army Air Force.
The donation will be used to replenish the coffers of the USO as they prepare to purchase supplies for care packages for each Soldier returning from the 3rd Infantry Division's 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team due back from Iraq in June and July, according to a news release.
The Mossy Oak Gun Club is made up of 179 members. Members will conduct a skeet shooting demonstration before the ceremony.
In February, the Savannah USO celebrated its 70th year of providing support to members of the Armed Forces based locally.
