Talking politics at 24e

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - People gathered at 24e to meet mayoral candidate and current City Councilman Jeff Felser Thursday night.

The informal setting gives voters a chance to meet the candidates face to face, as they pick their votes for the next mayor of Savannah.

"I arrived here just when politics were getting a little bit ugly in the middle of February and I didn't want to judge the city and politics by the incident that was going on then. So it's refreshing to be able to talk to somebody who seems to have a good head on his shoulders and his feet on the ground," said Savannah resident Judith Cohen.

It was the third mayoral candidate meet and greet.

They will hold these informal gatherings every other week.
