A few very talented students exploring new paths to success

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Students and faculty celebrated the end of the Explorer Program at the Woodville Thompkins Tech and Career Center Thursday.

High school students graduated after going through weeks of hands on experience at careers they can pursue for a lifetime.

"Just being in the classroom limits the amount of real world experience you can have. You can read a book, you can look at it online, but if hands on you get an opportunity, for some, it really puts them on the right path," said Neferteria Strickland with Learning for Life.

A few of the bright youngsters even spent time with us here at WTOC.

WTOC's Assistant News Director Joy Nelson handed out their diplomas.
