GARDEN CITY, GA (WTOC) - Garden City residents will get the chance to vote on whether or not they want to allow Sunday alcohol sales.
The City Council voted unanimously Monday night to put the option on the November municipal election ballot. Garden City is the first local government in Chatham County to move to put the matter to a vote.
Gov. Nathan Deal signed the bill into law Thursday. Local governments must adopt a resolution before the measure can be put on a ballot.
