SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The Small Business Chamber held their Annual Awards Banquet at Bryson Hall Wednesday night.
Several places and people were honored, but it was the owners of TailsSpins who took the Small Business of the Year award.
It was a testament to how all these businesses handle the day to day.
"The winners [Wednesday night] go above and beyond. They know that making our community better, benefits them, but also benefits the community as a whole," said Jamey Espina of the Savannah Small Business Chamber.
WTOC's very own Don Logana served as the awards emcee.
Please help us congratulate the winners in their respective categories:
2011 Small Business Champion: Gary Brand, The Gary Brand Company
2011 Community Advocate of the Year: Sarah Copeland of Hospice Savannah
2011 New and Emerging Business of the Year: Kyle Nikola of Bonaventure Funeral Home
