SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Friday is a special day in the Peach State.
It's "Georgia On My Mind Day." Several exhibitors set up at the Georgia Visitor Information Center off Interstate 95 at the Georgia-South Carolina line. They showed what the state has to offer.
"[It's] a celebration that we have at least once a year to show our appreciation to the travelers for choosing Georgia as their destination or just stopping over," said Dot Davis of the Georgia Visitor Information Center.
The theme this year is "celebrating the arts." Artwork by Port Wentworth Elementary students was on display at the visitor's center.
