Historic Savannah Foundation to present free lecture

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The Historic Savannah Foundation is presenting a free lecture titled, Born Modern: The Next Preservation Generation on Thursday, May 12th at 7:00 p.m. A reception is scheduled prior to the event at 6:30 p.m.

The lecture will be hosted by Historian Christine Madrid French, the director of National Trust for Historic Preservation's Modernism & Recent Past Program. She will discuss modernism of preservation.

This event will be held at Savannah Country Day School, which is located at 824 Stillwood Drive in Savannah. It's free and open to the public.
