W.W. Law Fest kicks off

W.W. Law W.W. Law

W.W. Law was one of Savannah's best known civil rights leaders.

He spent much of his time working to preserve black historic sites in the community. In order to carry on his legacy, the W.W. Law Foundation is hosting its second annual festival and fair this week. The Law Fest is a family event with games, rides, and vendors selling food and other items.

Local non-profit organizations will also host booths. The festival starts Tuesday and runs through Sunday at the national guard armory on Eisenhower Drive. It's open weekdays from 5 to 11 p.m. Saturday and noon to 11 p.m. Sunday.
