The board for Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools is proposing some minor attendance zone changes.
A redistricting plan was put into place for the 2010-2011 school year as part of the Passport to Excellence, according to the district's website.
The changes would support the District Accountability System's goal to ensure fiscal responsibility and effective resource stewardship, and provide a safe and secure environment for students and employees, according to the district's website.
The proposed changes would affect an estimated 200 of the district's 35,000 students.
The school board wants to move the zoning lines that effect Bartlett Middle School and Bartow Elementary School. Before they make final decisions, they want the public's feedback.
There are two meetings scheduled. The first meeting is at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Bartlett Middle School. The second meeting takes place at 6 p.m. Thursday at Bartow Elementary School.
