SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The state of Georgia has started an online public high school.
It's called Provost Academy. It's tuition free and students can begin enrolling now for fall semester. Representatives from the school are now touring the state to provide parents and students with more information.
They will be in Savannah on Wednesday. The academy's Community Outreach Specialists and staff will guided tours of the program and online classroom, as well as answer any questions guests may have.
They're holding three information sessions, all at the Main Branch Library on Bull Street. The first session is from 10 to 11 a.m., the second session is from 2 to 3 p.m. and the last is from 5 to 6 p.m.
All sessions are free and open to the public.
