Benedictine Military School physics students are setting off catapults known as trebuchets on Wednesday.
The Benedictine Trebuchet Tradition is in its seventh year. Science Department Chair James Hicks oversees the exercise.
Trebuchets were known to be more accurate than other catapults as warriors could use them to fling projectiles of up to 350 pounds at high rates of speed, according to the school.
