VALDOSTA, GA (WTOC) - When disaster strikes, it's nice to have people nearby you can count on and Wednesday The Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia got help from Wild Adventures.
They packed up hundreds of boxes full of food. The hope is that a disaster won't hit, but if it does, we'll be prepared.
"When people are in crisis we need to go out and help and so that's just the care of our company. Our company is based on Christian values and ethics and part of that is giving back," said Wendi Burke, HR Director at Wild Adventures.
They also donated boxes to The Second Harvest of South Georgia and others in Elizabeth City and Charleston.
