EFFINGHAM CO., GA (WTOC) - Cosmetology students from the Savannah Tech Effingham Campus were strutting their stuff and showing off their skills Monday in the school's first Hair and Fashion Show.
Students from the Savannah and Effingham campuses hit the runway with their own extravagant styles. Some worked on mannequins, some on models and others did their own hair for the event, which included different categories of design.
Savannah Tech freshman Mallory Faircloth said "We just decided to do fantasy, it's more fun and a little more creative, so we decided to go with the sweetshop theme and kind of just took it from there."
"It kind of gives everyone the opportunity to get creative and get together, and everyone's having a great time and we're really enjoying it, we're happy to do all of this." said freshman Trey Less.
This was the first year for the hair and fashion show, but they hope to make it an annual event.
