TYBEE ISLAND, GA (WTOC) - A group of Tennessee teens learned just how rewarding giving to others can be.
Students from South Pittsburgh High School in East Tennessee saved up for a whole year for a trip to Tybee. However, when they learned of the devastating tornadoes that hit Alabama they decided to donate all of the money they raised to a family in need. Lucky for them, their good deeds didn't stay a secret for long. A good samaritan heard of their good deeds and decided to sponsor their entire trip.
The group of teens are expected to arrive on Tybee Island Wednesday afternoon.
