Making moves for the Port of Savannah

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Governor Nathan Deal and Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed are on their way to Washington, to lobby for more money for the state's harbor deepening project.

They're meeting with U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray Lahood. The state needs around a $100 million to start dredging next year.

Of course, WTOC will let you know if they make any progress.
