It was a night full of prayer and support Wednesday which brought peace and joy to the hostess city.
Several groups came out in support, singing, dancing and uniting our city under one banner.
"Savannah, Georgia is known as a diverse, peaceful, and loving, and uplifting city. And that's what we're here to do tonight, to uplift the spirit of the city, to bring this city together," said Kevin Clark, President of Georgia Equality Savannah.
They were also promoting a new group, Savannah Unite.
