Fish kill topic of upcoming meeting

BULLOCH CO., GA (WTOC) -

A public meeting about the fish kill is scheduled for 5 p.m. June 5 at the old Dashers Landing located on US Highway 80 just east of Blitchton. 

The Riverkeepers, The Georgia Environmental Protection Division, Georgia Dept. of Natural Resources, state and local representatives are scheduled to attend.

    Deputies with the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office are investigating after two gunshot victims were taken to a Beaufort County hospital on Saturday afternoon.  The two involved were at a home on Mackarel Drive and Marshland Road when deputies say they believe a suspect(s) fired a gun outside of the residence, striking the women.  Paramedics from the Hilton Head Island Rescue responded to treat and transport the women to a nearby hospital for further treatment.  ...More >>
