The Junior League of Savannah is now accepting provisional applications for the 2011-2012 year. The Junior League of Savannah is made up of more than 1,000 women who are committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.
Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable, according to the organization.
Applicants must be woman at least 21 years of age, who possesses an interest in voluntarism, have a commitment to community service, and an interest in further developing their potential.
Applications are due by June 25.
