SCREVEN CO., GA (WTOC) - Emergency management officials say the condition of the Ogeechee River appears to be improving.
There is still no cause of the environmental stress that sparked a massive fish kill last week. The Screven County Emergency Management Director says the E.P.A. is still waiting to get fish samples back, but more healthy fish have been seen swimming in the river.
Until more information comes in, they are still advising that no one eat fish caught in the Ogeechee River.
