Rally for Cleveland Strangler victims slated for this afternoon

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

Community members will gather today to rally in support of the 11 women murdered by the Cleveland Strangler.

The trial for accused serial killer Anthony Sowell is set to begin trial on Monday, June 6th.

Families, friends, representatives and organizations will gather today at 5PM at 12205 Imperial to hold a vigil for the 11 women who were found murdered on Anthony Sowell's property.

The eleven victims are:

  • Culver, Tishana (31)
  • Dozier, Crystal (38)
  • Fortson, Telacia (31)
  • Hunter, Amelda (47)
  • Long, Leshanda (25)

  • Webb, Janice (48)
  • Turner, Diane (38)
