SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Blessed Sacrament School students will present a donation of pens and paper on Friday to The Matthew Freeman Project: Pens & Paper for Peace.

The organization started by a Richmond Hill mother, Lisa Freeman, whose son Matthew was killed in action in Afghanistan.

The presentation will take place at 11:45 a.m. Friday at the school's gym.

The Matthew Freeman Project: Pens & Paper for Peace is a non-profit organization dedicated to collecting pens, paper, and other school supplies in cities and towns nationwide and sends them to U.S. military personnel for distribution in Afghanistan, Iraq, and other war-torn countries.
