Fire puts 12 out of apartments

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Twelve people have been displaced after a late night apartment fire in Savannah.

The American Red Cross responded to the Oaks at Brandlewood apartment complex at about 10:30 p.m. Thursday on Girard Avenue.

The fire affected three units, but the cause is unknown. The Red Cross is providing lodging and food for the displaced residents.
