Governor designates Community Health Improvement Week

ATLANTA (WTOC) - June 5 is the start of Community Health Improvement Week in Georgia.

Gov. Nathan deal signed a proclamation that was delivered to the Georgia Hospital Association declaring the week from June 5 to 11.

The week aims to raise awareness about health care services in Georgians' communities and to find out how providers and resources impact the quality of and access to care.
