Group from 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team returns home

HINESVILLE, GA (WTOC) -

Families were reunited at big homecoming early Tuesday morning at Fort Stewart in Liberty County.

Friends and family members in Hinesville waiting to welcome home returning heroes of the army's 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team.

The group of more than 200 soldiers is back after a 12-month deployment to Iraq.

"It feels great. It's been a long journey to get here. And it's good see all my girls. I have a whole bunch of girls. I'm the chaplain for the Infantry Battallion so I hang out with a bunch of guys all the time. So I've been looking forward to coming home to my girls," said Capt. Drew Turner, chaplain of the Task Force 315 Infantry Battallion, about coming home to his daughters.
