An incident involving texting and driving sends one person to the hospital.
Investigators say a man driving a car along Highway 80 toward Tybee Island was texting and driving when he crossed into the oncoming lane and hit a van.
The van driver ran into a tree and was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The texting driver was taken away by police. There is no word yet on any charges.
