O'Dell Murder Suspect Not Guilty

The man accused of killing Chatham County Commissioner Harris O'Dell's son has been found not guilty in the murder. Last December, Harris O'Dell III was found shot to death while sitting in his car on his driveway. Two men were arrested in connection with the murder.

Today, a jury found Jovanni McKinney not guilty of killing O'Dell. He did, however, get ten years in prison for theft by receiving a vehicle.

The other suspect, Joseph Jackson, was convicted of aggravated assault in the case last August.
