Some young people in our area are making moves in politics.
Dressed in their best Monday night, 41 members of the Savannah Youth Council graduated after a year of professional and leadership development.
City council took the talented students under their wing, but it's the lessons learned within the group that will have lasting effects on each members' lives.
"We at first we didn't know each other as much, and we came together as a class and we did project together and we built a team," said Sa'vanna Jackson, President of Savannah Youth Council.
Many members said they hope to continue their journey by joining the Youth Commission when they get just a little bit older.
