Surveillance captures home burglary

The Effingham County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's assistance in identifying

A burglary suspect who is believed to have been involved in several residential burglaries in Effingham and Bulloch counties is wanted by the sheriff's offices in both those counties.

Video surveillance from a residential burglary captured the suspect. He tried destroying the camera which recorded him, according to the Effingham County Sheriff's Office.

These cameras captured a 2009 burglary of the same house, and an arrest when the photos were run by local news organizations, according to the Bulloch County Sheriff's Office.

The burglar is described as a black male with a slender build and short hair. He was wearing a white T-Shirt and black shorts and has tattoos on his left arm, according to the Bulloch County Sheriff's Office.

The suspect may have been dropped off and picked up in a dark-colored car.
