Police investigate shooting in Savannah

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

A shooting involving three victims broke out at Baldwin Circle and Montgomery Street in Savannah.

Police responded to a house early Friday afternoon where they found one body and one wounded from apparent gunshot wounds. Both were taken to Memorial. One other victim was involved in the shooting but was able to drive themself to the hospital.

Children are believed to have been inside the house when the shooting took place.

Police are asking the community to please avoid the area at this time as they conduct a full investigation into what happened.

    Deputies with the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office are investigating after two gunshot victims were taken to a Beaufort County hospital on Saturday afternoon.  The two involved were at a home on Mackarel Drive and Marshland Road when deputies say they believe a suspect(s) fired a gun outside of the residence, striking the women.  Paramedics from the Hilton Head Island Rescue responded to treat and transport the women to a nearby hospital for further treatment.  ...More >>
