REGISTER, GA (WTOC) - Two Bulloch County men have been arrested on charges of manufacturing methamphetamine.
Deputies with the Bulloch County Sheriff's Office were called at about 8:30 p.m. Monday to 11 Moorebird Lane in Register, Ga. on a report of an odd smell coming from a barn on the property.
Deputies requested and got consent to search the barn and found a man standing in the darkened barn. A second man was later located hiding in the loft area of the barn.
Deputies found the components of a methamphetamine lab in the barn, according to the sheriff's office.
Charles Dustin Carter, 37, and Matthew Robert Lutz, 29, both of Register, were taken to the Bulloch County Jail and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine.
