FARGO, GA (WTOC) - Firefighters are still working to contain wildfires burning through Georgia.
The Honey Prairie Fire Complex has burned more than 268,000 acres and is 60 percent contained, according to the Georgia Forestry Commission.
The Sweat Farm Again fire has burned more than 19,000 acres and is 70 percent contained and the race pond fire has burned more than 20,000 acres and is 69 percent contained.
Rain has continued to slow activity on the Honey Prairie Fire on the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge.
Fire behavior analysts say conditions are a long way from favorable when it comes to extinguishing fires burning in the area.
