SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -
Readers of Travel and Leisure magazine voted Savannah the sixth best beer city in the United States.
Places like the Distillery, and the Moon River Brewing Company, have enough craft brews for even the most worldly beer lovers.
"We make world-class beer in downtown Savannah. You don't have to go to the grocery store to get it, you can get it right in downtown Savannah Georgia. And I think that's what puts us head and shoulders above what's available in your local grocer," said Moon River Brewing Company's General Manager, Gene Beeco.
Beer is not the only thing making our city great.
Travel and Leisure magazine voters also named Savannah number six for cocktail hour, and number two for being pedestrian friendly and having nice neighborhoods.
