SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -
A normal day took a horrifying turn for one woman who wants to remain anonymous. While outside late Saturday night throwing tablecloths, something happened she'd never imagine.
"I got all the way down here to where the bins are at and went to throw the linens in and as I was throwing them in a guy came behind me and grabbed me. I turned around and looked at his face and he was smiling. I asked what he was doing. I had no idea what was going on," the woman said.
The frightened woman says the man then picked her up and tried to run away with her. She yelled and screamed until he finally dropped her and fled.
But it didn't end there. One street away, another woman was attacked a few hours later. Police believes it was by the same man.
"He reached in the car and grabbed my legs and said 'I'm going to get you, you white (expletive)," said Kristin Brown.
Kristin Brown, who works as a real estate agent for Century 21, was getting into her car early Sunday morning when she was attacked.
She said, "he was screaming at me like a crazy person, and I was screaming back and I was beeping the horn and I was punching him and kicking him."
The man once again ran away towards the Runaway Point Community, but was caught on surveillance video.
Both women say they will never be caught off guard again.
"I have already gone down and applied for a gun permit. That won't happen to me ever again. I promise you that," said Brown.
The suspect is described as a black male, clean shaven with a short haircut. He is approximately 5'6" and weighs 150 lbs. He was wearing dark pants and a white shirt during the first attack and a black shirt during the second attack. Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 912.234.2020.
