Savannah-Chatham police captured one of of the city's top five most wanted criminals during a routine traffic stop. Around 9am this morning, 20-year-old Ronald Grady and 24-year-old Khalilah Brown were pulled over on 52nd Street for speeding. While the officer was talking to the woman driving the car, Grady forced his way into the driver's seat and tried to run over the police officer. The officer then reached for his gun and fired a shot, but Grady sped off.
Savannah-Chatham police were able to catch up with the two and make arrests. Grady was wanted for a string of armed robberies and taken to the Chatham County jail. Brown was charged with speeding and later released.
