Police: Bailiff tries to crash car into Liberty Co. Courthouse

HINESVILLE, GA (WTOC) - A bailiff with the Liberty County Sheriff's Office has been charged with trying to ram his car into the county courthouse, according to Hinesville police.

Police said that at about 9:30 a.m. Friday, James G. Frasier nearly drove his car into the courthouse, but was stopped when he hit a large planter outside the building.

Frasier was taken into custody by security personnel at the courthouse. He is in custody at the Liberty Couty Jail and has been charged with criminal attempt to commit criminal damage to property, terroristic threats and acts and reckless conduct.
