Labor Day travel fatalities down over last year

ATLANTA (WTOC) - Seven people were killed on Georgia roads the Labor Day travel period, according to the Governor's Office of Highway Safety.

That's half the number of fatalities reported during the same holiday travel period last year.  During the 2010 Labor Day holiday travel period, more than 1,000 people were injured in nearly 2,600 crashes.
