SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Two days before he is scheduled to be executed, Troy Davis's representatives will have another chance to plead their case to save his life.

The Georgia Board of Pardons and Paroles tells WTOC a hearing before the board has been scheduled for 9 a.m. Sept. 19 in Atlanta. Davis's execution window begins on Sept. 21. Davis is scheduled to be executed for the 1989 murder of Savannah Police Officer Mark MacPhail at 7:00 PM on the 21st at the Georgia Diagnostic and Classification Prison in Jackson, GA.

Davis was convicted in 1991 of MacPhail's murder.
