Cargill issues another ground turkey recall

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Cargill announced on Sunday a ground turkey recall based on a confirmed USDA test sample at its Arkansas facility, according to the company's website.

An estimated 185,000 pounds of ground turkey are affected due to a possible contamination of Salmonella Heidelberg.

The recall is smaller than the Aug. 3 recall of 36 million pounds of fresha nd frozen ground turkey due to possible Salmonella Heidelberg contamination.
