Two Men Sought in Armed Robbery

Police could use your help in finding two men in connection with what may be a string of armed robberies aroung the Savannah area. Shortly before 12:30am this morning, officers were called to Timberland Apartments where a woman reported she had been robbed. When police got there, they found the victim, a pizza delivery person. She tells officers she had completed her delivery when a man ran up, threatening her with a double-barreled shotgun and demanding her money.

She gave the man her cash, then the suspect got into a car with another man and they sped away in a silver late-model Chevrolet Malibu that had been reported stolen. The car was last seen heading south on White Bluff and had a Dan Vaden paper tag on it.

Fortunately, no one was injured. Police say other people have been held up by men in car with a similar description. Anyone with information about the armed robberies is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 234-2020. A reward is being offered.
