SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The city and organizers of the inaugural Rock 'n' Roll Marathon will be holding meetings next week to go over details of the race.
Representatives from the City of Savannah and The Competitor Group, which is organizing the race, will discuss road closure information and how residents and businesses can get involved.
The meetings are focused on residents and businesses along the 26.2-mile marathon route, which includes most of Savannah. The course is divided into three regions.
Meetings will take place in each region.
Region #1 (Central/Southside): 6 p.m. Monday, September 19 Alee Temple 100 Eisenberg Dr. (off of Skidaway Road)
Region #2 (Westside): 6 p.m. Tuesday, September 20 Moses Jackson Advancement Center 1410 Richards St.
Region #3 (Central/Eastside): 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4 W.W. Law Community Center, 909 East Bolton St. For more information on the marathon, go to www.competitor.com/community.
